A pond resulting from the overflow of the Bassa de les Olles lagoon, between the lagoon and the Playa Arenal (Ebro Delta, south of L’Ampolla, Spain). Only one pair of Apricaphanius iberus collected. No Gambusia hoolbroki in the pond. Editor’s note – Since 1990, with its inclusion in the Spanish National Catalogue of Threatened Species through Royal Decree 439/1990, the capture of Apricaphanius iberus in Spain has become illegal without authorization, subject to civil or criminal penalties. |
