“I am a recently retired fish biologist, the last 16 years working with fish migration issues for the NOAA Fishery Service in southeastern US. Previously I spent 25 years with the North Carolina Division of Marine Fisheries. My spare time is devoted to studying the freshwater fishes of North Carolina and South Carolina, culminating in the oublication of three books.
