Type Localities of Aphyosemion aureum 1 , Aphyosemion hofmanni 2 and Hypsopanchax catenatus 3, three species discovered by this Expedition to the South of Gabon. 4 Epiplatys huberi was also discovered by this expedition although no code was given to the Type Locality. During the 1980 trip, Eduard and Otto used collection codes for the first time. However, they did not assign them to every collecting locality; instead, they used code numbers only for localities that were of particular importance to them (personal communication from Eduard Pürzl). .
